Yelken Connect is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to assist on a project with our US-based partner in the field of wireless infrastructure (2G/3G/4G/5G). In this capacity, you will work with the Sales and Business Development teams to secure opportunities and contracts; working on proposal, presentations, and general communication with leads and customers. The work is mainly remote however presence in Istanbul, Turkey is preferred.

Yelken Connect is a system integrator and contractor based in Istanbul, Turkey that works on bridging the gap between operators and vendors in the field of wireless technology. Our services include assisting new operators in building state-of-the-art networks that meet their budgetary and technical requirements, and existing operators to upgrade and/or expand their current networks. We also work with vendors and manufacturers to expand their businesses around the globe with a focus on emerging markets.

Responsibilities :

Provide technical support for the Sales team during the sales process.

Work with the Sales team to prepare technical responses to lead inquiries.

Prepare proposals for RFPs.

Assisting the Sales team in drafting presentations for leads and customers.

Lead the technical presentations and demonstrations of partner’s products to leads.

Provide training to customers on installation, design, and commissioning methodologies.

Qualifications :

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience or related degree.

3+ years of experience supporting wireless telecom projects.

Extensive knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G network topologies and architecture.

Deep knowledge of GSM/CDMA/LTE.

Strong understanding of wireless Core/RAN functions and interconnect standards.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to work with a team.

Fluent English language skills.

Work Environment

Work location is flexible.

May require after-hours and weekend work.

Presence in Istanbul is preferred.
